Press Release Summary: Trakware Capacity Management Allows for Unique ETO Resource
Management

Press Release Body: Trakware Systems (www.trakware.com) announced the business
availability of TRAKware v6, the leading software solution for To-Order enterprises
which have deep interdependencies between engineering and manufacturing processes.
From the initial customer order to final installation, TRAKware is poised to deliver
an experience unmatched in the industry, including significant enhancements over
earlier version 5.

According to Randy Richel, P.Eng., CEO and General Manager of Canadian-based
Trakware, "Enterprise software built for repetitive manufacturing needs massive
amounts of customization to even begin to adequately handle the complex, unique,
one-time requirements of custom-engineered products. The newest TRAKware Solution is
ready to meet these challenges by bringing an "on the manufacturing floor" innovated
application to allow To-Order (engineer to order, make to order) environments a
competitive edge to manufacture today's complex products."

TRAKware v6 focuses on many critical areas including the newly released Trakware
Capacity Management (TCM) functionality. TCM allows manufacturers to configure and
manage resources (and resource groups) to distribute plant capacity where and when
it is required. Richel suggests, "As work is placed on work orders (whole or
partial deliverables) the load for each work center is accumulated thus establishing
a work load for the plant. Resources groups are assigned to work centers and
distributed across the time window in weekly 'buckets' (capacity). The user then
can distribute or redistribute the capacity across the work load as required. In the
dynamic environment of any To-Order company, Capacity Management is critical to meet
scheduling needs of the operation as there are often significant changes to a daily
schedule due to multiple factors out of manufacturer's control, such as a customer
change order requiring re-engineering or change in the delivery time."

A typical time window for Capacity Management is 6 to 12 weeks into the future. The
Trakware team has taken "planning and scheduling" in the To-Order environment one
step further with the ability to handle the scheduling of people. This gives
tremendous advantages over stand-alone enterprise scheduling applications such as
Preactor, Taylor and Primavera. Trakware's preferred scheduling and planning partner
is currently Preactor, the world\'s leading advanced planning and production
scheduling software. Trakware also integrates fully and seamlessly with Microsoft
Office Project and the EPM platform, the market-leading Project and Portfolio
management application.

Trakware Systems is the worldwide leader in manufacturing execution system (MES)
solutions for engineer-to-order (ETO) and project-based manufacturers maximizing
both profitability and productivity. Trakware specializes in lean business-critical
functions such as estimating, advanced scheduling, job costing, production
management and labor as well as material shop floor data collection. TRAKware
software fully integrates with existing ERP systems, as well as major software
providers for financials, engineering design, optimization, payroll and wireless
interaction for mobile workers. Trakware recognizes ETO manufacturing as a process
and includes a wide range of industry sectors including Architectural Woodworking,
Cabinets, Store Fixtures, Doors and Windows, Furniture, Oil and Gas Fabrication,
Solid Surface, Metal Fabrication, Yacht-building, and Custom Electronics.
